Scotland Drawn in Group A for EURO 2024

Tough Task for Scots as They Face Germany, Switzerland, and Hungary

Scotland have been drawn into Group A alongside Germany, Switzerland, and Hungary for the 2024 European Football Championship (EURO 2024).

The draw, which was held in Frankfurt, Germany, on October 9, 2023, placed Scotland in a challenging group with three strong opponents.

Germany, the reigning European champions, will be the clear favorites to top the group. Switzerland, who reached the last 16 of the last two EURO tournaments, will also be a tough test for Scotland.

Hungary, who have not qualified for a major tournament since the 1986 World Cup, will be the underdogs in the group but will be looking to cause an upset.

Scotland will open their EURO 2024 campaign against the Czech Republic on June 14, 2024, in Glasgow.

They will then face England on June 18, 2024, in London, before concluding their group stage campaign against Croatia on June 22, 2024, in Glasgow.

The top two teams from each group will qualify for the knockout stages of EURO 2024.
